We love Palomar! All of the food is delicious, but the burger (“Frita”) is a real highlight as one of the best, most unique burgers in town. The new location and atmosphere is also unparalleled. It has all of the OG Palomar charm, just with a bigger space and A location. It’s definitely our go-to spot for date nights, special occasions, and taking friends from out of town to dinner.

A great place for Cuban fare in Slabtown. Not only is the food incredibly tasty, the servings are generous, and the prices very fair. A nice bar menu is another thumbs-up. Worth a visit, especially during Happy Hour. Oh, they're open every day!

We reached here at 5pm for dinner one day, because childcare! Glad that it turned out like that, because the place somehow looked beautiful inside with sunlight outside, and there was a calm inside which I really enjoyed. A very warm and welcoming space, as was the service! Then came the cocktail menu. Oh man- so many options. I could only try their Moscow mule, but probably the best I have ever tasted- so gingery. [Note to self: Visit often to try all their cocktails] The fried brussel sprouts and pineapple salad appetizers were both finger-lickin' delicious. I am still dreaming about those brussel sprouts!! The jackfruit tostada was an unusual choice for me -- but again, a knockout! Also tried their fried chicken entree and the tres leches cake-- all great too! Probably will be in our list of Portland favorites!

Everything here was a 10/10. The service from the staff was amazing and the food came out in the perfect increments. The tostones and grilled pineapple salad were especially good and the Mango Lassi frosty was so creamy and delish. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love the new space! This place was recommended to us for awhile and it did not disappoint. The crab fritters were an amazing starter. Perfectly crispy chicken thighs in the Pollo Frito, with a hot sauce that's out of this world. And you can't go wrong with dessert. We didn't order alcohol this time around, but the agua fresca and mocktails were super flavorful. Will definitely be back soon

Food and drinks were unique and different. I really enjoyed their Burger/sandwich and others at the table ordered the steak which was also good. Definitely get a blended drink, they are great. Would come back.

From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the beautiful interior design, featuring adorable tiles and an abundance of lush green plants that created a vibrant and inviting atmosphere. Initially I had some hesitation about visiting, thinking it might be more of a cocktail bar with limited food options. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find their menu had delicious offerings. I absolutely recommend their tostones, they came with an amazing sauce. I could have eaten them all night. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted and bursting flavour. Their cocktails are truly top notch. They have a creative selection that perfectly complements the food. I can confidently say that I will be returning to Palomar. If you are in the eare dont hesitate, check it out!

Absolutely stunning cocktails—truly unlike anything you’ll find at most places. Each drink was layered with deep, rich flavors that struck the perfect balance: not overly sweet with artificial notes, and not too heavy on the alcohol. Just perfectly crafted. The food was flawless, from the crisp perfection of the fries to the melt-in-your-mouth pork packed with incredible flavor. I’ll definitely be back.
